She continued her academic journey at Oklahoma City University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor degree. Throughout law school, Haylie actively participated in various activities, including the Student Bar Association, moot court team, Trial Practice, and the legal fraternity Phi Alpha Delta, enhancing her legal education. Practical expertise was acquired through an externship at the City Attorney’s office in Oklahoma City and an internship at a prominent plaintiff’s firm, sharpening her legal skills.
Inspired by her law school experience, Haylie co-founded the "Ladies Who Law School," now "Ladies Who Law," podcast with fellow classmate Samantha Lemke. The podcast serves as a platform to offer guidance, support, and inspiration to women pursuing careers in the law. Haylie's dedication to supporting and empowering women in the legal profession has established her as a respected and influential voice in the legal community.
Active in her local legal community, Haylie is a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Fort Worth Bar Association. Her commitment extends beyond the courtroom as she actively contributes to initiatives that support and uplift the homeless community.
